The main duties of the Lublin Centre for Regional Surveys are:

• Creation and maintenance of the knowledge base on Lublin region on the basis of statistical data and information from non-statistical sources;
• Initiating and conducting regional statistical surveys and analyses, participating in projects conducted in the  Lublin region by the other entities, in particular local self-government units, local government administration units and academic institutions;
• Periodical elaboration and dissemination of analytical reports on socio-economic situation in Lublin region as well as making available data for implementation of regional development programs monitoring purposes;
• Conducting surveys on economic situation and economic climate in Lublin region and dissemination of results;
• Dissemination of knowledge and statistical data on Lublin region, in particular through the regional information portal.

The Lublin Centre for Regional Surveys actively responds to the changing information demands of different communities of Lublin region and constantly adjusts the scope of its duties to these changing needs. The Centre is also constantly taking activities aiming to provide customers with current, adequate and good quality statistical information.
