The tasks of the Centre of Dwellings and Communal Statistics include organising and conducting surveys in the area of statistics of dwelling and municipal economy in the country as well as developing the results of these surveys, in particular:

• preparing methodological rules, organisation concepts and carrying out surveys
• conducting trainings in the area of the organised surveys
• developing the data from administration data sources for the needs of monitoring real estate activities
• carrying out analytical studies in the field of statistics of dwelling and communal economy
• recognising possibilities for using administration data sources for the needs of reporting and publishing
• cooperation with author department, institutions, universities and scientific community within preparation of surveys and carrying out statistical studies connected with the area of the conducted surveys
