The publication titled “The capital cities of the regions in the Bug Euroregion in 2012” is another publication in the series of studies on cross-border areas, prepared by the Statistical Office in Lublin. It contains a set of basic statistical information on natural conditions, the state of the environment
and environmental protection, the population, economy, housing conditions, culture and tourism in cities under analysis, i.e. Brest, Lublin, Lviv and Lutsk, as compared to the neighbouring cross-border regions. Apart from statistical data, the publication includes brief characterisations of particular
cities, reflecting the similarities and differences between the capital cities of the respective parts of the Euroregion.
